Define pinch-off voltage
February 02, 2016
Pinch off voltage is defined as the gate-to-source voltage at which drain-to-source current is zero.
Proof:-(In the saturation region)
IDS = IDSS [1- (VGS/VP)]2
When IDS = O ,
VGS = VP
